A Comparative Study on the Inclusive Practice of Special Education in China and Britain

The implementation of inclusive education for special students( disabled persons) in colleges and universities is an important way to achieve education equity. The British government's emphasis on inclusive education has become a powerful guarantee for its higher special education,and the development of its inclusive education is at the leading level in the world. Through the comparison and analysis of the background of the inclusive practice of the higher special education in China and British and teacher training,teachers' ability and training effectiveness,the paper finds that there is a big gap between China and Britain. British colleges and universities effectively implement the inclusive education practice in order to ensure the smooth employment of students with disabilities. In particular,the training objectives,training model and curriculum setting of special teachers in Britain are of great significance to the development of inclusive education in china.
