A Study on the Use of Illustrations in Junior High School English Textbooks——Take Hebei Education Edition Textbook as an Example

In view of the inefficient use of illustration in junior high school textbooks,with leading-in-illustration,explaining-illustration and drilling-illustration as clues,this paper explores the application of illustrations in unit leading,text explaining and exercises practicing in Junior English textbook,and makes them play aided roles in different teaching stages so as to improve the class teaching effect.
