On Teaching and Learning of Graduate Courses Based on Analyses of Some New Methods

The quality of graduate students is affected by graduate teachers' teaching thoughts and behaviors. Now,some new methods such as self-regulated learning,research-based learning,service learning,cooperative learning,and negotiated learning are encouraged in the field of graduate teaching. Beyond the surface learning,deep learning is gradually formed. Based on these methods,the teaching value orientation of"teaching by learning " and the teaching strategies of"guiding learning with teaching" should be advocated in order to improve quality of graduate teaching.
