Calculation of oil-water boundary of small sandbody reservoir with strong edge water by reservoir dynamic method

The oil-water boundary and sand body boundary are difficult to be described in the small sand body reservoir with strong edge water,which is usually determined by the amplitude attribute of the seismic root-mean-square root.There are few geological data in the small sand body reservoir,and the oil-water boundary is inaccurate.In the paper,the theory of percolation mechanics and reservoir production performance data are used to calculate seepage velocity,reverse educed oil migration distance,so as to determine the oil-water boundary and compare it with the consequence of seismic root-mean-square amplitude.Practical exercise indicates that the calculation process of this method is simple,and the result is close to the consequence of traditional method.Therefore,this method canbe used to quickly determine the oil-water boundary of small sand body.
