PETROCHEMICAL FEATURES AND FORMING ENVIRONMENT OF VOLCANIC ROCKS FROM AXI ORE AREA IN XINJIANG

Ma Runze
In this paper, petrochemistry and geochemistry of trace elements of Lower Carboniferous volcanic rocks from Axi ore area are studied. Furthermore, forming tectonic setting and eruptic environment of Axi volcanic rocks are approached. It is belived that the volcanic rocks belong to calcalkaline series and formed in active continental margin or near continent side in mature island arc belt associated with plate subduction. They are the products of continental volcanic eruption.
