COMPUTER SIMULATION OF COMPRESING ANTENNA BEAM BY THE INVERSE FILTER METHOD

The principle of compressing antenna beam by the signal processing method is put forward andsome research works in computer simulation are carried out．The main idea involved is to consider theantenna factor as one filter function，and the antenna output function as one equivalent result the echois filtered（time-domain convolution）by the function. The influence of the anntena factor can be removed principally by the inverse filter method.Hence the compression of the beam width is obtained.
