CONTRAST OF THE PRECISION OF TWO DAY-NIGHT DIVISIONS OF THE ATMOSPHERIC STABILITY

The frequency of atmospheric stability in Chengdu and Chongqing is calculated by the tempraturegradient method，and the statistics on frequency of atmospheric stability is made by the P-T methodwith two diferent day- night divisions；The contrast between the two methods shows that the reSultobtained with division h_1 can represent the real state of the lower atmospheric structure.
