Study on Removal of Nitrobenzol in Drinking Water by Ozone Oxidation-Active Carbon Absorption

Single ozone oxidation,single active carbon absorption and ozone oxidation-active carbon absorption technology were studied in order to discuss the practicability of removal of micro-content nitrobenzol in drinking water.Results showed that single ozone oxidation can only remove about 50% nitrobenzol,single active carbon absorption can reduce nitrobenzol to a standard index mark when empty-bed station time exceeded 15 minutes,but ozone oxidation-active carbon absorption technology can remove nitrobenzol completely when the time exceeded 10 minutes.Active carbon absorption constant temperature data was fitted by Freundlich equation to estimate saturated absorption time.Ozone oxidation-active carbon absorption technology was proved an effective method to remove micro-content nitrobenzol in drinking water.
