Cause Analysis of Water Producing and Countermeasures in Wa38 Block

The block of Wa38 had the character of multi-series oil water nexuses compound oil reservoir.After years of steam soak recovery,in the integrate action of steam condensation water,border water,bottom water,intermediary water and fault water,the cause of water producing in oil reservoir or oil well is becoming more and more complex.The inundation of oil well became the main factor of restricting the improvement of recovery impact.In 2007,cementing was adopted in production;chemical water was shut off;recovery strength was controlled;border drainage recovery was employed;well cementing quality was improved;fault drilling was avoided.With such measures,an ideal result was reached.Annual extra oil recovery increased accumulative total to 8456 tons and got extra 4456300 RMB profits.Meanwhile an example for similar oil reservoirs is set up.
