Preparation of Nanometer CaCO_3 by Extraction-Sedimentation

The experiment utilizes 2-ethylhexyl phosphonic acid mono 2-ethylhexyl grease( P507)extraction Ca2+ from CaCl2 solution,reoccuping saturation carbonate ammonium solution direct stripping-precipitation of calcium carbonate from P507 loaded Ca2+,getting sedimentation CaCO3. TEM and XRD analysis shows that particles assume spherical in shape with the average size of particles ranging from 30 to 40 nm,providing a new method for preparation of nanometer CaCO3. The paper also discusses on the making mechanism of the nanometer device.
