Simulation Research on Lateral Vibration of Silent Chain Drive System

The lateral oscillation simulation model of silent chain drive system was created based on the software of Catia and Adams,and then lateral vibration feature during the chain drive was researched. The time domain response and frequency domain response of Torque vibration and lateral vibration was analyzed. The results showed that the lateral vibration is periodic,and the maximum amplitude occurrs at the place near the meshing frequency.
