English-Teaching Reform Facing New Market Requirements from Jingjinji

Recently,the implement of Leisure Tourism Industry Development Program Around Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei and Integration Development of the Capital Economy Circle Program has brought quantities of new job opportunities to the colleges and universities in this area. Under the great pressure of the fierce competition from the market of the job opportunities,the increase of the job opportunities has become the support and guarantee to the existence of the colleges and universities. Mastering a foreign language,in a sense,is regarded as "a knocking brick"for a student to find a job opportunity,which for sure comes from the market. Therefore,it is required to define the functions,learning contents,depth and width of the English course after clarifying the goal for major training,analyzing the students' intentions,studying the requirements of the posts,and concerning about the future development of the students,which are supposed to be the key points to the English-teaching reform of the higher education.
