Application of Gel Pellets Deep Profile Control Technology in Lunnan Oilfield

The heterogeneous of wellblock-2 of Lunnan oilfield is serious,so it seriously affects the effect of water flooding. The role of deep profile control is to improve the reservoir heterogeneity and enhance the efficiency of water flooding. Several agents performance were evaluated,and gel deep profile control test was conducted in Lunnan A well of Lunnan Oilfield. The laboratory studies show that the gel is of better performance of high temperature and salt resistance,and the gel is of good water shutoff performance. The field pilot test shows that the pressure index increases,and the PI increased from 6. 7 to 15. 5; the FD increased from 29% to 62%. The water injection profile is improved apparently,and the high water absorbing layer is controlled. It decreased from 74. 9% to35. 1%. The incremental oil for slowdown decline was 4 115. 6 t. The obvious effects indicate that the successful application of deep profile control technology to the pilot test area is of implication for development of the whole T1 reservoir and others with high temperature and high salinity.
