Multi-angle Analysis of College Foreign Language Teachers' Professional Development——A Research of Teachers' Development Based on TALIS

Professional development activities are the crux of college foreign language teachers' professional development. Based on TALIS from OECD,the paper reveals the situation of foreign language teachers' professional development in the form,topic,efficiency,requirement and barriers by taking colleges teachers in Shaanxi Province as the samples. In view of the characteristics and obstacles of college foreign language teachers' professional development,it presents countermeasures and suggestions to promote the professional development of foreign language teachers from the aspects of analyzing external environment obstacles,focusing on teachers' internal demand and reshaping the teachers' identity.
