The Strategy of Asexual Reproduction for Population of Leymus chinensis under Different Densities

Through the cultivation experiment in which the population density was artificially controlled,the age structure,reproductive allocation characteristics and the dynamics between the potential population and real population of L.chinensis were observed at the module level.The results showed that under different sowing densities,L.chinensis firstly adapted its population quantity,biomass,and age structure,and then regulated the potential population quantity to maintain the future population quantity at a suitable level.Low sowing density not only maintained a stable trend of the age structure of the population,but also facilitated an increase in the population quantity and biomass and at the same time extended its space.
