CURATIVE EFFECTS FOR TREATING RURAL HYPERTENSION PATIENTS WITH ENALAPRIL

Objective:To investigate the curative effects for treating rural hypertension patients with enalapril.Methods:149 rural hypertension patients were randomly divided into enalapril group(n=74,enalapril 25 mg,qd) and captopril group(n=75,captopril lOmg,tid).The number of patients out of treatment in 2 groups,the blood pressure of patients before treatment,2 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment were respectively recorded.Results:The ratio of patients out of treatment in enalapril group was 16.2%(12/74),which was obviously lower than captopril group(30.7%,P0.05).Compared with that before treatment,the blood pressure of patients in 2 groups 2 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment decreased obviously(P0.05);But there was no significant difference between enalapril group and captopril group about blood pressure after treatment(P0.05).Conclusions:Treating rural hypertension patients with enalapril can get antihypertensive effects as captopril,and has the advantages of better compliance and fewer adverse reactions.
