Objective: To investigate the curative effects of TUIBN and TURBN in treatment of bladder neck contracture. Methods: 52 cases of bladder neck contracture patients were divided into experimental group and control group according to operation method with 26 patients in each group. The patients in experimental group and control group were respectively treated with TUIBN and TURBN. The operation time, residual urine volume and maximum flow rate after operation of 2 groups were compared, and the long term effects were observed by follow-up. Results: The operation time and residual urine volume of experimental group were obviously lower than control group, but maximum flow rate was obviously higher(P0.05). Moreover, the forward urination of experimental group was also better than control group. Conclusions: Compared with TURBN, treating bladder neck contracture with TUIBN has the advantages of short operation time, little residual urine volume, easy operation and better long term effects.
