Speed Regulation of Asynchronous motor and Energy saving in Fans and Pumps

The energy saving principle of speed regulation of asynchronous motor and operation of fan and pump are analyzed,and the modes and features of asynchronous motor are introduced.Upon analyzing the application of frequency speed regulation in the retrofitting draft fans and pumps in thermal power plants,the paper concludes that the mode of frequency conversion speed regulation is the best,obtaining perfect operation performance and notable energy saving effect.
