Gallimard: A Western Man Affected by Orientalism Also on David Bwang's Subversion on Orientalism

The hero GalliMard in MButterfly ingrained by orientalism shows his fantasy and stereotyped view of the Easterners,especially his prejudice of the Eastern women.It is the stereotype of the East and the Easterners in Western culture that has him be a victim.David Hwang subverts Orientalist in the Western cultures through the artistic image of Gallimard.
