Preparation of SrWO_4 Microsphere and Its Photocatalytic Activity for RhB

The SrWO_4 was prepared by hydrothermal method using Sr(NO_3)_2 and Na_2WO_4 as raw materials,water as solution. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The photocatalytic performance of SrWO_4 was by ultraviolet visible(UV-Vis)spectrum measurement. In addition, this experiment investigated the photocatalytic activity of microcrystals for the degradation of rhodamine B(Rh B) dyes which was simulation as effluent at acidity condition,and changed the identity of catalytic and the condition of external environment:different reaction time,different hydrogen ion concentration(pH) of precursor solution and withoutcatalytic. Under those influence factors,the SrWO_4 microcrystals for the degradation of Rh B was studied. The results showed that the reaction temperature was 140 ℃,the reaction time was 24 h and the pH value of precursor solution was 3. The strontium tungstate was perfectly synthesized on the degradation of Rh B and the degradation reached to 90. 75%.
