Design of distributed RFID data collection system based on Zig Bee and ARM

Aiming at the weak points in traditional wired RFID data collection system,such as high cost of cabling,nodes connect complex,reader need predistribution,low flexibility and can't read in mobile carriers,a distributed RFID data collection system based on Zig Bee and ARM is proposed.On the basis of the establishment of embedded minimum system based on the ARM,a RFID information processing platform is constituted combining peripherals such as UART,USB,LCD and et al.Aiming at the characteristics of the distributed RFID data collection,Zig Bee wireless communication technology is introduced.Taking full advantage of the flexibility of Zig Bee wireless networking and ARM powerful computing capability,the distributed RFID data collection is realized.The structure and the software and hardware design and implementation of main modules in the system is given in detail,and the result shows that the system is effective and reliable.
