Main skeleton extraction of area feature based on branch triangulation shape factor

It discusses the deficiency of traditional skeleton extraction algorithm,such as single fatctor analysis,complex calculation,and time-consuming.Then a main skeleton extraction algorithm of area feature based on branch triangulation shape factor is put forward,which involves the length,angle,position and distribution of edges,in order to get a weight for each edge of the skeleton network.Some of operator algorithms are presented and corresponding experiment results are illustrated.
