Numerical Study on Stress Characteristic in China

DANG Ya-min①,CHEN Jun-yong②,CHAO Ding-bo③(①Chinese Academy of Surveying and Mapping, Beijing 100039,China;②State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping, Beijing 100830,China;③Wuhan University, Wuhan 430079,China)
The joint inversion of some geodynamical parameters and numerical simulating the crustal stress field is presented in this paper. The four nodes quadratic finite element in Chinese area is constructed and the "split node" technique is employed for introducing the fault parameters into the finite element computation. An inversion strategy of which the random inversion is employed to capture the global solution and local iteration method (i.e. Gauss-Newton method) is used to obtain final solution is proposed. The numerical results reveals the crustal stress characteristic in Chinese area.
