Use Modern Geodetic Result to Discuss the Tectonic Power of Eastern China

CHANG Xiao-tao(Chinese Academy of surveying and Mapping,Beijing 100039,China)
Tectonic environment of eastern China is studied in this paper with the modern geodetic results. Three main factors work on the crustal movement in eastern China which are collision between continents, subduction of ocean and mantle convection resulting from the above two factors. In the three factors, the collision between Eurasian plate and India plate and the subduction from Philippine Sea plate to Eurasian plate are the main factors affecting the horizontal crustal movement, mantle convection vertical crustal movement. The main horizontal stress in eastern China is the pressure near EW direction, but as a whole, the crust is moving east. On vertical movement the south rises and the north falls.
