The research of the method for comparing the photographs of different aero films

The quality of aero-photographs affects the follow-up surveying and mapping production directly.Therefore,evaluating the quality of aero-photographs is very important.In the course of implementing the photogrammetry project,the aero-photographs is evaluated by operators mostly with their experience,this method is much affected by the subjective factor.A new evaluation method put forward in this paper is based on digital test tentatively,which had been applied successfully in the selection of aero-films in Qinghai-Tibet region,2005.The process of the method is:testing some parameters of several digital images quantificationally or qualitatively firstly,then colligating those parameters by "Rose Map" which obtained from meteorology,and comparing the result finally.The application shows that the method can reflect differences in various aspects effectively and visually,and it is simple,practical,and achievable.
