FeedMAP-incremental updating meets map-based probes

This paper presents the main aspects of the FeedMAP project,which is co-funded by the European Commission. FeedMAP started in March 2006 and was building a cooperative map feedback and updating framework improving the cooperation between map data providers and map users. This concept will contribute to an improved transport efficiency and increased road safety by creating a sustainable source of map and update future navigation and in-vehicle applications.
