The resarch on the way of extracting Hu Moss on the basis of MODIS

Hu moss is one type of large moss. Its breakout would adversely affects landscape,and tourism and interfere with the conduct of water spots. This paper used the MODIS02 images with the spatial resolution of 250m provided by NASA and used the way of RVI,NADVI and the minimum distance classification respectively to extract the information of Hu Moss.The result shows that all of them can extract the Hu Moss but the way of EVI is the best.The way of minimus distance can't identify between Hu Moss and cloudy. We must classify the result on the basis of what we see. The way of NDVI can identify between Hu Moss and cloudy,but leak a lot.
