Risk appraisal to the non-point source phosphorus pollution of agriculture land based on the GIS technology——A case study of Yangtze basin

The recognition of phosphorus element outflow's essential source area is important for the reasonable implementation nutrient resource management,the instruction of applying fertilizer balanced,governing the pollution which the agricultural nutrient creates and the agricultural sustainable development.Under the GIS technical and nutrient balance calculation method support,eferring to the widespread applied phosphorus index method ,Then establish each target system and compute the phosphorus pollution risky index,we use them to carry on the non-point source phosphorus pollution risk appraisal to the main agriculture land in Yangtze river basin. Looking from the result,the regions which have the very high and high non-point source Phosphorus pollution risky index separately occupies 24.40% and0.49% of the main agriculture land,the low and middle risk region separately occupies 11.16% and 63.95%. The Yangtze basin is a high phosphorus pollute risk basin for the agriculture land.
