Noise removing method based on à trous wavelet transform for SAR image

synthetic aperture radar(SAR),with "all weather",day or night imaging capabilities,is an important role in the domination of Earth observation.But it is disturbed by a speckle noise depending on the signal due to the radar wave coherence.In order to reducing speckle noise,we propose to suppress this noise with a multiresolution analysis of the image.The filter in this paper is combined algorithms of à trous wavelet decomposition with average filter.This method is used to an RADARSAT image and then it is compared with three other classic SAR image filters,the results show that the presented approach has the advantage both in speckle suppression and the preservation of image details.
