Study on the utrasonic distance measurement system for seabed microtopography

According to active underwater measuring location principle,the ultrasonic transducer is launched ultrasonic for simulating submarine terrain.Because the ultrasonic echo signal and reference signal have strongly inter-related characteristics,maximum relations to the sampling location would be gained.Utrasonic propagation time is obtained.Experimental results show that cross-correlation method for measuring seabed topography has highly accuracy.It will be able to meet the underwater Micro-topography measurement requirement.
