Research on the mathematic model of direct geolocation with airborne SAR image

This paper obtains a mathematic model of direct geolocation of Airborne SAR image in uncontrolled circumstances with DGPS(Differential Global Positioning System) and Inertial Navigation System(INS) data. The model includes coordinate transformation, dynamic eccentric correction, interpolation of antenna phase center and Range-Doppler(R-D) Model. According to R-D Model and Digital Elevation Model(DEM) data, geographic coordinates of points are calculated in Airborne SAR image, then ortho-image is obtained by resample. According to the experiment with one-meter resolution airborne SAR images in Chengdu study site, the mathematic model is feasible, and the sources and correcting methods of main systematic errors are analyzed.
