MTF compensation and error analysis for CCD image based on system model

Space-borne linear push-broom CCD image is always blurry in the process of image acquisition and transmission.MTF is a reliable assessment for the quality of CCD image.In order to improve the quality of image,MTF compensation based on MTF system model is proposed by analyzing the main factors of MTF.The estimation method for model parameter is put forward by studying the MTF system model.Then image restoration is performed using constrained least squares algorithm.The process of image degradation and contamination is simulated.The degraded image is recovered using MTF system model.Image quality evaluation is performed.The effect of model parameter estimation error on image restoration is analyzed quantitatively.The MTF compensation based on system model is proved to be effective to restore the blurred image and can improve the image quality conveniently.
