A review on the remote sensing image understanding

Based on the recent research in remote sensing image understanding,a general framework for RS image understanding was given in the paper.And the high-level semantic features and low-level image features were discussed.The dominating methods and applications concerning each task in the framework were discussed.Finally,the development in future was forecasted,especially with the aid of knowledge system and image cognition.
