Lowland waterlogging forecast model for emergent flood prevention in Chongqing

Now emergent flood prevention in Chongqing is becoming important,the paper established a waterlogging model which computes quickly and dynamically based on the existed waterlogging model and combined with GIS spatial analysis and visualization technology.First,digital elevation model and urban lowland model were constructed with spatial analysis;then rainfall model,drainage model,water catchment model were established by means of numerical calculation method;finally,water depth and area of the lowland was predicted.Chongqing urban data was used to verify the effectiveness of the model,and it has been applied in Chongqing Emergency Platform.
