Hybrid integrative positioning system based on Skyhook XPS

Affected by multipath effects,in a high reflective environment the GPS receiver's phase change can not be measured out,point coordinate could deviate up to 15cm;satellites can not be locked indoors,GPS is not working properly.The article introduced Skyhook XPS-hybrid integrative positioning system,integrated advantages of Global Positioning System(GPS),Cell Tower Triangulation and Wi-Fi three kinds of technology,to locate quickly and accurately.Skyhook XPS's system architecture,deployment model and the main interface functions were described in detail and a location-based service was achieved based on SDK.Experimental results showed that it's fast Time-To-First-Fix,with high accuracy,and strong availability.In high-reflective terrain environment,the hybrid integrative positioning system would be an effective instrument for GPS and provide effective positioning information and location-based services for wireless terminals,LBS,etc.
