Model of maritime vessels pollution quantitative risk assessment based on AIS

In order to overcome the defects of the present risk assessment model of the pollution from ships,a mathematic model of quantitative risk assessment based on AIS was set forth in the paper.The model is characterized by the specific sea area historical analysis of pollution vessels accidents statistics.Based on getting the information of vessels traffic,vessels types and ship size etc from AIS,the model calculated the frequency of vessels accidents.Taking into account various factors such as water of sea,classification of accidents,vessels risk ranking and so on,the results of the model could be more scientific and quantitative.
