Analysis of mining subsidence effects on buildings

The data of land surface movement observation stations and outdoor photographs obtained,which are near 1111(3) coal mining face in Guqiao mining area,were used to study mechanism and laws of building deformation in this paper.Correlative conclusions were drawn: curvature and horizontal distortion are the main factors impacting on destruction and deformation of buildings,which caused brick wall on the surface of mining cracked.By analyzing the law of cracked brick wall in mining area,some principles were drawn for reinforcing and maintaining buildings,so that before buildings could be affected by mining,some measures could be taken to release the influence of land surface deformation on buildings by the estimated result.
