Registration method between aerial image and vector data based on 2D multi-scale template

Aimed at the problem of registration between aerial image and vector data,a registration method,which is based on straight line features and uses 2D multi-scale template,was put forward in this paper. Vector data preprocessed was regarded as prior information and 2D multi-scale line template was utilized to search lines in order to establish the correlation between matched primitives. The collinearity equation was selected as registration transformation function. The registration between aerial image and vector data was realized and the exterior orientation parameters(EOP)of aerial image were calculated then. Experimental result finally proved the method could be relatively feasible and precise.
