Error analysis of satellite laser altimeter system under different terrain conditions

In order to improve the efficiency of laser altimeter for serving the upcoming launching of domestic laser altimeter satellite,the paper summarized the error source of laser altimeter system,deduced the error propagation equation,and then analyzed the influence of the main observation errors on the positioning accuracy,finally,estimated the positioning precision by simulating parameters;among which,in the view of the observation of laser altimeter satellite in land area,it mainly analyzed the impact of changes in surface slope on the altimetric accuracy,and result showed that the additional range bias caused by the slope would have great effect on the altimetric accuracy,which becomes the main error source for mountain areas.
