Study on the KunLun culture as the source of Chinese civilization

NIU Ruchen;China Academy of Surveying and Mapping;
The very first batch of ancient time toponymy of Kunlun origin were discussed in this paper to illustrate that the history and cultural footprints of the Han nationality has been engraved in the Western Regions of the vast land in the pre Qin period,which proved that the place names were fossils of the national history and culture in certain space and time.It was pointed out that the reason there were arguments for Kunlun position in Shan Hai Jing was that the posterity did not understand the meaning of Kunlun prototype in Shan Hai Jing.On the one hand,Kunlun has both broad sense and narrow sense,on the other hand,there are two aspects of void and solid for Kunlun.After the Han Dynasty,KunLun generally refer to today KunLun.Originally,Kunlun was an artificial building,which was shrine of observatory,time service,order-issuing and administration.Kunlun was an universal name of deified mountain.The culture of Kunlun is the origin of the Chinese nation.As The Yellow River civilization,Kunlun culture has always provided the impetus for the proliferation of early Chinese culture.It could be said that Kunlun culture is the root of culture and the spirit source of the Chinese civilization.
