Discussion on method of density-independent model for road-region vegetation coverage

Aiming at the problem that the traditional Two Stream Approximation Model is susceptible to interference,and with complex calculation and relatively low accuracy,the paper used the modified PRO-4SAIL2 physical model to obtain the inversion of LAI,which was applied to the extraction of the vegetation coverage information,compared with the commonly used Two Stream Approximation Model method,the modified model had clearer physical meaning and simpler calculation.Finally,by matching and comparing with the high resolution IKONOS reference image,it was showed that the vegetation coverage derived by the PRO-4SAIL2 physical model would have higher precision,and the accuracy of road vegetation coverage inversion would be improved as well,which could be applied in the density-independent model of road-region vegetation coverage.
