A rapid location method of target points for Delaunay triangulation

Aiming at the problem of target point positioning in the constructing Delaunay triangulation,based on the location algorithm using direction of center of gravity,this paper established a fast location method which moves center of gravity along the search direction:when some special cases appeared,such as the line from target point to current center of gravity passed through a vertex of a triangle or coincided with a triangle edge,the next search triangle was got by topological relation between triangle;then the center of gravity of this triangle instead of last center of gravity was connected with the target point to form new search direction;keeping on search till the problem of cut-off point was solved;at the same time,mixed product judgment equation was used to define the intersecting relation of two lines.Simulation results showed that there exists only location path using improved method,the constructing efficiency would be increased,and the algorithm could be more robust.
