Research of boundary conditions of cubic spline interpolation applications in satellite orbit and velocity

In this paper,aiming at the problem of cubic spline interpolation method which is not easy to get the endpoint constraints in the satellite orbit interpolation,two methods of endpoint first derivative calculation is put forward.The first method,difference value is used to replace the first derivative value;the second method,the first derivative of coordinates and speed are received by using the derivative relationship between position,velocity and acceleration.The simulation results show that the interpolation precision of the two methods are not affected by segmental arc length,the coordinates interpolation error achieving millimeter above,and the speed interpolation error achieving centimeter,higher than 7order Lagrange interpolation accuracy.But their operation time is slightly larger than 7order Lagrange interpolation method.Among them,the speed interpolation error of the first method is smaller than the second,thesecond method interpolation results exist periodic dithering,and its period relates to the sampling frequency.The methods in this paper have high interpolation accuracy with little computation,and the interpolation accuracy is not affected by segmental arc length,is a practical satellite orbit and speed interpolation method.
