Study on the electrical calibration in complex conditions based on 3D GIS platform

This paper presents a three-dimensional electrical calibration module based on 3DGIS platform,solving the problem of difficult verifying with low accuracy in traditional power line design process.Utilizing the calculation method of theory of catenary,spatial coordinate conversion and equation of state,the calibrations of " wire-to-ground distance" " distance between the wires" " wire-to-feature distance" "Limit span"and " Gap of security" with different operating conditions are implemented by using the module.The accuracy of the algorithm meets the requirements of the design institute.The results from trials of several projects show that this method improves both the efficiency of the designer and the accuracy of electrical calibration,which are valuable references to electrical calibration in digital power line design.
