The design and implement of field data collecting system based on the MAPWORLD

Aiming at the existing problems of inefficiency of field investigations in the risk assessment of geo-hazard and low reliability of data acquisition,this paper builds a field data acquisition system applied to risk assessment of geo-hazard with geographic information service interface supplied by the MAPWORLD API(Android version),Android development and the technology of SQLite.Using the data services provided by API,it solved the problem of fixed-scale and limited-breadth in paper map and realize the goal of zooming field base map in different levels and unlimited base map extent.This system realized the goal of real-time location,economic and reasonable route planning and investigated places' distribution based on function service of API.It solved the problems of randomness of outdoor paper records and the accuracy and efficiency of the data entry by the normalized electronic recording model and achieved data collection and edition.Tests indicate that this system improved the efficiency and quality of assessment work.
