Optimized LDPC decoding quantization method for GPS L1Csignal

Aiming at the quantization issues of decoder implementations for LDPC codes which are adopted in the modernized GPS L1 Csignal's CNAV-2 navigation messages,this paper proposed an optimized quantization method for the modified Min-Sum TDMP decoding algorithm.This method analyzed the influence of the selection of the Min-Sum correction coefficients in the decoding algorithms as well as the choice of the precision of the integer part and decimal part for the nodes′iterative updating messages,the quantization scheme of the decoding algorithm is optimized under finite precision.The simulation results show that the proposed method can efficiently take account of both the decoding complexity and the decoding error rate performance.
