A Method for Building Reconstruction from Multi-Source Data and Airborne Li DAR Data

To the problem of less-automated and low accuracy method of building reconstruction based on airborne Li DAR data, the article proposes a fusion of collected high precision building boundary data with airborne Li DAR data for building reconstruction. This article discusses the key steps of building reconstruction as the buildings extraction, roof segmentation, roof structural line extraction, topology reconstruction and model generation. Finally, to verify the effectiveness and availability of the various steps, a real experiment concludes that this method can quickly rebuild a more complex model of city buildings.
