Overview of the Researches on Sedimentary Environment for Sandstone-type Uranium Deposits in the Meso-Cenozoic Basins of China

Thispaper overviews the sedimentary environment for the sandstone-type uranium deposits in China, analyzes the situation and significance of these researches in this field, types of U-bearing clastic sedimentary Formations, and favorable facies for the formation of sandstone-type uranium deposits as well. Several aspects, which should be paid attention to during the study of the sedimentary environment for sandstone-type uranium deposits,are put forward finally.
