Microstructures and Salt Spray Corrosion Behaviors of Hot Dip Zn and 55Al Zn Coatings

Corrosion behaviors and microstructures of the batch type hot dip zinc and 55Al Zn alloy coatings of Q235 steel sheet were investigated by cyclic accelerated salt spray test and SEM and EDS. Experimental results showed that corrosion resistance of 55Al Zn alloy coating was better than that of Zn alone.
