Recent Developments in Anode and Cathode Materials for Lithium Ion Battery

Research on lithium ion batteries as new generation rechargeable batteries has made rapid progress in recent years. Lithium ion batteries are now used as power supply for cellular phones,portable computers and seve(?)al other protable electrical devices because of its excellent properties, and are expected to be used either in electric vehicles(EV) or in large-scale batteries for electricity storage. This paper reviews current research into their materials,which constitute anode,cathode and electrolyte,and analyzes problems associated with their development,and their advantages and drawbacks.
